Stop Pulling Hair Out – The Natural Way is based on reestablishing proper neurotransmitter levels and nutritional balance. It’s a very simple, straight-forward program:
- Requires no office visits or extensive tests
- Often produces quick, dramatic results
- Creates a long-term plan that can get you off medication (if desired)
Understand that we are not encouraging people to abandon traditional behavioral therapy and/or medications as they work to stop pulling hair out. These are very complementary therapies that can help you get through any of your psychological and emotional triggers compelling you to pull.
First, you need to understand the science behind Stop Pulling Hair Out - The Natural Way.
The Natural Way to Stop Pulling Hair Out
The approach we’ve taken at the Natural Path Health Center is to attack the root of the problem.
Stop Pulling Hair Out – The Natural Way involves working with clients to find where the deficiency exists, and then providing the amino acids and co-factors the body needs to create more of those neurotransmitters.
With those neurotransmitters in place, people regain the ability to stop pulling hair out.
The get to that point, we follow a simple process:
- To help you stop pulling hair, we first determine the underlying neurotransmitter and/or nutritional imbalances for each individual, and then design a program.
- If testing is advised, we can set up a simple, inexpensive test to determine the neurotransmitter and/or nutritional levels.
- To rebuild your neurotransmitter levels, we may recommend natural supplements that provide amino acids and cofactors. You begin taking these supplements, and we check in with you on a weekly basis until the urge to pull is eliminated.

15-year old daughter has pulled out hair on head. When she first started (about 2 months ago) it was minimal, one strand at a time, and bit the end off. Now she says she is not doing it, but quite obvious that she is because she is almost bald. Had basic blood workup done at dr with everything ok.
Thanks for the comment. I hear your concern for your daughter. I would suggest a couple things: (1) I suggest that you talk with your daughter to find out more about what is going on with her – if she is having urges to pull, when/where and/or under what circumstances she has an increased urge to pull (if she knows) and how she feels about (a) pulling and (b) the effects of pulling. These are important items to try and determine underlying causes. I say this because you stated that she stared pulling a couple months ago. As I am sure you have found in your research, the teen years are a very common time for the urge to pull to increase.
The second suggestion would be to give us a call to set up a brief initial phone consultation so that we can further discuss your daughter’s history (she doesn’t have to be on this call if she doesn’t want to be) so I can make more specific recommendations. Since she has just started pulling, the likelihood is very high that we will be able to help decrease the urge to pull quickly, but she will need to be on board, so it will be beneficial for me to speak with her at some point.
I look forward to speaking with you!
